About Our Hospice Volunteers
Often called the "the Heart of Hospice," Hospice Volunteers
are a very caring, concerned and sympathetic group of people who want to help others who are going through a diffcult
time.
All Volunteers are screened and receive training in the Hospice philosophy of caring for the terminally
ill and issues resulting from loss.
Hospice Volunteers are listeners and very supportive individuals who donate
their time, skills and most of all compassion to provide FREE non-medical services to families.
Our Volunteers
bring a wide variety of skills and talents to families. Their support may include running erands, light housekeeping, preparing
light meals, providing respite to family members or lending emotional support and companionship.
